MHE Policies and Regulations on QA (CAD and Teacher Portfolio)

On September 28th, 2016, OQAA- the office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Komar University arranged a workshop on “MHE Policies and Regulations on Quality Assurance (CAD and Teacher Portfolio)” for the university chairmen and Full-time faculty members. At the beginning of the workshop Twana A. Tahir / QA director focused on some important requirements form MHE- Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Then Ranjdar Saeed / Junior Coordinator of OQAA mainly revolved around the process of Continuous Academic Development (CAD) and Teacher Portfolio. 
Besides discussing MHE policies and regulations on quality assurance, the workshop mainly covered the following topics.
  • Continuous Academic Development (CAD)
  • Portfolio
  • Aims and Objectives 
  • Contemporary content of teaching portfolio
  • Why prepare a teaching portfolio?
  • How to get started?
  • How will my portfolio be evaluated?
At the end of the workshop, the chairmen and faculty members shared their opinion with the office of quality assurance and accreditation (OQAA) at KUST- Komar University of Science and Technology. This workshop was another of series workshops that will be conducted according to the Quality Assurance Calendar for semester Fall 2016.
