QA arranges an orientation for KUST faculty members
On Monday, January 30th, Quality Assurance Unit arranged an orientation program for all faculty members of KUST ahead of the start of the 2023 spring semester. The program started with a welcome speech by professor Dr. Kawis Aziz, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. In his speech, Dr. Kawis highlighted some of the important aspects of academic life at KUST and wished everyone a fruitful experience at KUST. After the vice president’s speech, all the chairpersons introduced their departments along with their faculty members. Later, Mr. Twana Abdulrazaq, the director of the Quality Assurance unit gave a presentation about the characteristics of KUST instructors and their teaching philosophy. This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Muayad Jajo, the chairperson of the English department, covering different aspects of curriculum design.
