Quality Assurance Conducts Successful Faculty Training Program
In an initiative aimed at enhancing the academic and administrative capabilities of the university’s faculty, Komar University’s Office of Quality Assurance organized a comprehensive one-week training program from September 3rd to 7th, 2023. The event brought together faculty members from all departments to foster professional development and ensure a high standard of education.
The training program commenced with a warm welcome from Professor Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Komar University of Science and Technology. He welcomed all new faculty members who recently joined the University and wished everyone a fruitful year.
One of the highlights of the program was a presentation by Mr. Bamo Nadir, Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Registration, which focused on the various online systems used within the university. Following his presentation, Mr. Mohammed Omer, the Director of Admin and HR, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the university’s HR policies.
The training program also featured a presentation by Mr. Twana Abdulrazaq, who discussed Quality Assurance (QA) policies and regulations. This segment emphasized the university’s commitment to maintaining the highest education and administrative efficiency standards.
The week-long training program was met with enthusiasm from faculty members, who found it a valuable opportunity for growth and collaboration.
